Providing free medical care in rural Nepal
Day 4 saw the Team, minus 2 who had gone down with a nasty case of the flu, pack up and start the long, hot hike up to Sirkot in readiness for the second camp.

The team was warmly welcomed upon their arrival at Sirkot, receiving mallas and blessings from the community

After lunch and a chance to freshen up, the Team was invited to the inauguration of the new Sirkot Birthing Center which was supported through the provision of equipment by our USA partner, the One World One Heart Foundation
Days 5 – 7 and it was back to normal – long queues at registration and plenty of patients to see.

Sally and Sudip did a fantastic job standing in at registration for Kate and Petal , who had been left behind in Ale Gaun to recover from their flu. In 2.5 days they registered 964 people.

In total, across both camps we registered 1,792 people and performed 2,436 consultations across our 5 specialties.
