After the inevitable delays – the old temporary bamboo classrooms were needed for exams; the schools closed for a month for festivals and then a shortage of materials and labour – work has finally started on rebuilding the Wishner5’s 7th & 8th permanent classroom buildings, both in the Sindhuli region.

The kids have been moved outside into the sunshine for class and the old bamboo has been stripped off to reveal the metal truss structure that the new building will be built around and foundations are being dug.

Work on this small school is also cracking on and if all goes to plan, we hope to have both schools completed by the early new year.
